What should I say?

• Keep it simple. Keep it respectful. For the first time, this is a bipartisan solution that has a real chance of passing. Let’s foster excitement for the plan and avoid personal attacks.

Three key points:

1. The last six years have made it clear we must protect the PFD in the constitution for future generations.
2. Don’t give government more money than the people. The 50-50 plan is fair and equitable.
3. Let the people vote. It’s clear politicians can’t solve this. Put the constitutional amendment before the people of Alaska.
