The Alaska Republican Party went through a complete and exhaustive process of vetting all the candidates who applied for the seat. Governor Dunleavy would like to thank the two other highly qualified applicants forwarded to him by the committee, Craig Christenson and Richard “Clayton” Trotter, for their willingness to serve in public office.

Jackson will take the oath of office when the Alaska House of Representatives gavels in on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in Juneau.
